A little taste of Paris in our own backyard! Went to try the Vogue Cafe a quaint new French restaurant in Steveston Village for our anniversary dinner and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and everything was made by the chef who’s from Paris. We tasted the love and pride he takes in creating his cuisine. From the tasty tender beef bourguignon to the homemade 100-year old tarte de citron family recipe, we enjoyed every dish we tried. The fresh warm baguettes were oolala! Vogue Cafe’s delicious French food, wonderful service, and being personally greeted in French with a bonjour, au revoir, and a bientot was nostalgic of our experience in Paris. Highly recommend trying this restaurant. Food items on dinner menu are between $15-$30. We really enjoyed and will be back to try brunch menu! Follow them on Instagram at voguecafesteveston. Our meal: duck pate, charcuterie, beef bourguignon, Navarin D’Agneau, fresh baguette slices, tarte de citron, crepe Suzette plus wine of course!

A nice little cafe tucked in the alley at Steveston operated by a kind French couple. The baked goods are pretty tasty and I prefer the baguette over the crepes. You have to walk through the alley with a scale and some bronze pigs, near the old Yokohama, and then you'll find the place.

I popped in for the first time before a hair appointment and purchased a spinach quiche to go. The entire experience felt like I was back in Paris. The owner/server? patiently put up with conversing with me in my poor French, and took the time to show me other menu items. Cost and quaint. Don’t miss this place if you’re looking for a little taste of France! The quiche was amazing, even as a to-go item! I can’t wait to return.

There aren’t many places worthy of 5 stars but this one is. Food is fantastic, atmosphere great and the couple running it know how to make French food. We had Beef bourgeon and ham, cheese crepes. Followed by amazing apricot and a pear tart. Flavours were amazing and so well balanced. I can’t wait to go back for the quiche. This place is truly special and run by a lovely couple.

Felt like we were in a charming Québec City café. A place like this in Richmond is very much appreciated. The owners, Thomas and Lily, have created a warm and comfortable environment to enjoy French café classics. The mushroom, spinach, and egg crepe, French onion soup, quiche Florentine, and duck pâté were all incredible - beautifully simple and rich dishes. Will definitely be back.

This is a super legit French cafe. I love that the owner spoke to us in French. My dad was pleased because he speaks French fluently. She was so sweet and friendly. The food was reasonably priced and was just like the food I encountered in France. I will definitely come back!

Food and service were excellent. Authentic French food in a quaint setting, right in Steveston. We started with a charcuterie platter which had a good selection of meats and cheese, in addition to house-made bread (which was very good). The entrées were all extremely flavorful and rich. We had the lamb, Steak à Cheval, and the quiche. The lamb and steak were extremely tender, the quiche was a very generous portion. For dessert we tried both the crepe Suzette, the Carmel whisky crepe, and a gluten-free dessert of apples-Carmel-Grand Marnier. All three options were delectable, we didn’t leave a bite. The French wines were a nice compliment to the meal, and all dishes were quite reasonably priced. Would highly recommended and will definitely be back.
